Ciara Wants To Make You 'Sweat' On One Woman Army

'This is almost like a journal,' she tells MTV News of next album during Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week.

Before she took the stage Wednesday night during Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week with her "That's My Boy" co-stars, R&B-pop princess Ciara hit the pre-show red carpet and revealed details of her much-anticipated new single and album.

"I'm so excited about this new record. I'll tell you guys because I love you guys so much, and what would it be without MTV?" Ciara told MTV News on the carpet. "My new album, I'm almost finished with it, and the album title is called One Woman Army."

Army will be the "Goodies" singer's first album at her new label home of Epic Records.

Ciara parted ways with Jive Records in early 2011 following a falling-out over the promotion and support of her last effort, 2010's Basic Instinct, which peaked at #44 on the Billboard albums chart after her first three LPs all enjoyed top-three debuts. She was not without a label for long, signing up to join L.A. Reid's Epic just a few months later. It was Reid who signed Ciara to her first record deal in 2003.

For her part, the pop star seems to be moving in a new direction with Army, calling the album "very, very personal" and saying she "darn near cried" while writing many of the songs.

"This is the most vulnerable I've ever been in my life and career. And I'm so confident with being vulnerable. At one point in time, I was very afraid to be as vulnerable as I am," Ciara said. "This is almost like a journal, my own personal journal when you get this record."

But fans of Ciara's dance-heavy catalog shouldn't fear: The singer assured us there will be plenty of uptempo tracks, including the lead single, "Sweat."

"It's only right that I let you know this too, another bean, that my new single, my first single, is coming. It could be coming anytime soon, and it's called 'Sweat,' " Ciara continued. "I just love to make you sweat in all kinds of ways."

"That's My Boy," which hits theaters June 15, followed a never-before-seen clip from "Snow White and the Huntsman" as part of MTV's Sneak Peek Week festivities, which will also include exclusive first looks at "Magic Mike" tonight (May 31) and "Rock of Ages" on Friday (June 1), as well as live nightly chats with the casts of each film. Many travelers come to Beijing with one question in mind: where do I find good Peking duck, or kaoya (烤鸭)?

“Tourists all want to have a taste of Beijing roast duck because it's the most typical and local food,” says chef Fan Jiabiao (范家标), 44, who has been roasting duck for more than two decades in Beijing.

“I like eating kaoya, too, especially the crispy skin,” Fan adds. “Eating the skin can also beautify the skin of those who eat it.”

The Anhui native has been the kaoya chef at Made in China, Grand Hyatt Beijing’s Chinese restaurant, for the past nine years. The 126-seat restaurant is one of the best places to eat Peking duck in China’s capital.

'Glee' Star Chris Colfer Teases Michael Jackson Tribute Episode

Fox's song-and-dance series "Glee" is no stranger to a star-studded cameo or two, with the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, John Stamos and Kristin Chenoweth all walking the halls of McKinley High during the past two and a half seasons. And as the show returns from a month-long hiatus, Gleeks aren't the only ones anticipating a few more famous faces. As star Chris Colfer told MTV News on the Golden Globes red carpet, there's plenty to look forward to when New Directions warble again January 17."Well, the Michael Jackson episode ...," Colfer answered when asked about his most-anticipated upcoming episodes. "We have a Spanish episode coming up with Ricky Martin. I'm the 'White' in 'Black [or] White,' and I sing 'Ben,' that famous song he wrote for the rat."The rodent in question is the pet of a young boy named Danny in the 1972 film "Ben." Jackson sang a version of the theme song that appeared in the movie's closing credits and was later included on his 1972 album also named Ben. Drake Celebrates 'Unity' On Club Paradise Tour

'We actually all like each other,' Drizzy tells MTV News about tourmates including J. Cole, Waka Flocka Flame and 2 Chainz.

When it comes to Drake and his Club Paradise tourmates, it's all crew love. When rounding out the roster for his current run, Drizzy wanted not only to build an entertaining lineup, but to show that hip-hop doesn't have to be all about beef.

"I just wanted people to come out and see a unity, because in hip-hop it's always been based off of confrontation," Drake told MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway during the May 17 Club Paradise gig in Houston. "I think one of the coolest things about where we're at right now, it's real united. We actually all like each other."

For this leg of his tour, which kicked off May 7 in California, Drake tapped J. Cole, Waka Flocka Flame, 2 Chainz, Meek Mill and French Montana to ride out with him. "The rare times that I get into a girl's car or be subjected to what someone is listening to in their vehicle, it happens to be those guys," Drizzy reasoned.

Montana is preparing to drop his debut album, Excuse My French, this summer, so he welcomes the exposure. "We're all crossing each other's fans, so it's a good look for everybody," he said. "Look at the energy in here — we having fun doin' it."

Rick Ross protégé Meek Mill is also putting the finishing touches on his debut LP, and though he has done plenty of spot dates with his Maybach Music Group family, Club Paradise offers him something more. "We just put in that groundwork," he said. "This is just my first tour going city to city and hitting markets we never even been to, performing and showing our faces and grinding."

You don't necessarily have to have a hit record on radio to be a part of Club Paradise. Drake shows love to the up-and-comers as well — after all, he does fancy himself an underground king. Connecticut MC Jitta entered a contest and won an opening spot on the celebrated tour. Drake chose him personally.

"I entered for a Drake competition to get on the Club Paradise Tour and they chose me, Drake chose me to get onstage. So I'm on with 2 Chainz, Waka, all of 'em," Jitta said. "I think it's because I have a different style from everybody else on the tour, more of a hip-hop, laid-back type of tone."

At the end of the day, Drizzy just wanted to give the fans something new. "More so than young in age, it's just refreshing in talent; guys that when I go out and I see people having fun, that's who they're listening to," he said. "That's really how I put this tour together."

I went to the premiere on Tuesday and it was the coolest thing ever. First, the movie is AMAZING and Chris Evans is a superstar. Second, there were so many damn people there it was insane. I have been to movie premieres in New York before and they were nothing like this. I mean, they closed down Hollywood Boulevard. I would've taken photos to show you, but the invite said to leave phones in the car. But here's a photo of me in my cool Captain America 3D glasses:

Britney Spears Calls 'X Factor' A 'Beautiful Concept'

At the Fox upfront this week, the singer appeared alongside fellow newbie <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lovato__demi/artist.jhtml">Demi Lovato</a>, as well as returning judges Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid, and gushed about the Fox reality show."Just really being able to be there and inspire the other contestants ... they're so young and they're trying to fulfill their dreams," she said at the event. "It's just a whole beautiful concept. It's just really cool."<div class="player-placeholder right" title="Britney Spears Explains Why She Wanted To Be A Part Of 'X Factor'" id="vid:769620" width="415" height="255"></div>While her negotiations with the show had been making headlines in the weeks leading up to the official announcement, Cowell brushed off all the hoopla, which includes a rumored $15 million payday for joining the show. "I charmed her."Spears seemed equally taken with the prickly Brit. "He's adorable. He's completely adorable. Lovato was on a short list of possible contenders to appear on the show that also reportedly included Miley Cyrus and Avril Lavigne. "I'm so excited to be here," she said. "I guess you called," she added with Simon by her side. "And that's how it got set up, just a phone call." In addition to getting warm and fuzzy about each other in the interview, Cowell shared that the judges will be filming in the next couple weeks when they hit up Austin, Texas, to begin scoping out talent. And if you think the claws might come out then, Reid assured viewers that that won't be the case. "Oh no, we're gonna be really sweet to each other," he said. "Nothing controversial. The rise of Bangkok’s indie eating scene

On a recent Friday night, some 30 foodies trickled down an unpaved alley in Bangkok’s Thong Lor district.

They went up to the second floor of a nondescript shophouse, where they were welcomed into a warmly lit room with two long communal tables topped with jugs of potent white sangria.

They sat shoulder to shoulder on benches, drank local craft beers and wines and chowed on a four-course meal created by pirate-like Australian chef Jess Barnes from the soon-to-open Bangkok restaurant Quince.

They chatted with friends and strangers, passed each other the bread and poured each other more wine.

It was a typical pop-up restaurant at Opposite, one of many independent food events creeping up on Bangkok in recent months.

Britney Spears To Get New 'Glee' Tribute Episode

Fox comedy will also move to Thursday, like 'X Factor,' where Brit has signed on to judge.

After drawing <a href="/news/articles/1648982/britney-spears-glee-episode-draws-record-setting-ratings.jhtml">record ratings the first time around, "Glee"</a> has announced plans to pay homage to <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/spears_britney/artist.jhtml">Britney Spears</a> ... one more time. The news comes hot on the heels of the announcement that Spears will join the "X Factor" as judge, when the competition show returns to Fox this fall on Thursday nights. (Glee also moves to Thursdays for season four.)While Brit appeared in the September 2010 tribute episode, which used her impressive collection of hits, the 2012 tribute episode will instead focus on her "Glee" namesake, Brittany S. Pierce (played by Heather Morris), without any appearances from Spears. <a href="http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/05/15/glee-scoop-second-britney-tribute-exclusive" target="_blank">EW.com</a> reports that the new episode will be the second in the show's fourth season, returning in the fall.The Spears-centric episode will feature eight of her songs, and a source revealed that Fox is excited to have Spears joining the network on "X Factor" and that the "Glee" ep is partly a reflection of that.Spears was on hand Monday at the Fox Upfront presentation in New York City, where she appeared alongside fellow <a href="/news/articles/1685057/demi-lovato-britney-spears-x-factor.jhtml">"X Factor" newbie Demi Lovato</a>, as well as returning judges L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell. At the event, the judges and host of "So You Think You Can Dance" weighed in on the <a href="/news/articles/1685066/britney-spears-demi-lovato-x-factor.jhtml">ladies joining the show</a>."I don't have any advice for those ladies," "SYTYCD" host Cat Deeley told MTV News. "What I do like about it though is they will be able to absolutely impart some serious wisdom. I love the idea that they've been in the business for so long and since being kids, and so quite often they've had successes and they've had failures on things."And I think the most important thing is the mistakes we make," she added. "You learn so much from mistakes that you make and I think they'll be able to impart their wisdom to the new kids coming through. Kristen Stewart Recalls Her 'First Time' With 'Fifty Shades Of Grey'

During MTV's Sneak Peek Week, the actress and 'Snow White' co-star Sam Claflin remember their erotic MTV 'After Hours' segment.

You may recall a little MTV "After Hours" segment called "Erotica," in which Josh Horowitz had the cast of "Snow White and the Huntsman" read an excerpt from "Fifty Shades of Grey."

While Chris Hemsworth could barely make it through the reading, Kristen Stewart laughed at some of the lines, Charlize Theron attempted to act out the scene and Sam Claflin wooed us with his luscious tone.

When we caught up with Stewart and Claflin again for MTV's Sneak Peek Week, leading up to Sunday's MTV Movie Awards at 9 p.m. ET, we asked the "Twilight" star if reading the erotic tale sparked her interest in the role of the timid Ana Steele.

"They should ask me!" she joked. "No, I'm kidding. [During 'After Hours'], that was the first time I read it."

Stewart is currently up for two Movie Awards along with her "Breaking Dawn" co-stars. Through the Movie of the Year and Best Kiss categories, she has a shot at the coveted Golden Popcorn. Voting is still open, so head over to MovieAwards.MTV.com to make your voice heard! And who knows, maybe "Snow White" will grab some nominations next year. Until then, we're pretty sure Sam Claflin has a future in erotica books on tape.

"To be honest, having watched that back, I took it way too seriously," the actor laughed as he recalled the "After Hours" video. "All four of us did very different readings, but I actually properly read it. I got really into it."

Stewart didn't disagree. She gave it a good try, but Claflin is unbeatable.

"What happened to Sam before he was an actor? I was trying to get a job," he joked. "I will do anything for money."

Horowitz brought out all three books in the "Fifty Shades" trilogy wrapped in a ribbon for both actors as a going-away present. Now they have their own copies of E L James' series to take with them as they travel. Though don't expect to see KStew reading her copy as she jets off to and from LAX.

"When people read this on airplanes," she said, "I'm like, 'Whoa. Take that blanket off your lap! Get off the plane. Sick!' "

Claflin, however, has a different reaction.

"I'm like, 'Can I borrow that after you?' "

The biggest city in the Netherlands is a triumph of resourcefulness and lateral thinking.

Space is at premium in Amsterdam, where much of the land has been reclaimed from the sea.

The city's planners turned that to their advantage: Amsterdam's canals soothe rather than imprison the city. They provide its order, its calm.

That calm is regularly disturbed by the trill of bicycle bells, but as long as you give the cyclists a wide berth, it's the perfect city for pedestrians.

No longer hostage to a tourist industry propped up, at least in part, by its now locals-only coffee/cannabis shops, travelers have no excuse for not discovering the best of Amsterdam.

<a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/usher/artist.jhtml">Usher</a> sat down for an exclusive "MTV First" interview about his hotly anticipated upcoming release, Looking 4 Myself, his unconventional album-listening experience with the <a href="/news/articles/1685095/usher-twisted-climax-scream-mtv-premiere.jhtml">off-Broadway show "Fuerza Bruta"</a> and to give fans a first listen to the Myself track "Twisted" featuring Pharrell. He told MTV News' Sway Calloway the song is a "nostalgic record" that reflects the album's ambitious aim to represent the variety of musical experiences that have impacted the R&B superstar." 'Twisted' is more of a nostalgic record, so when you think about the classic R&B record, we managed a way to modernize it, even though that's very relevant," the singer said. "You hear records like Cee Lo, you hear Bruno Mars and also Andre 3000, and that sound is very relevant in this time. "Life is a workout, man, it's like a treadmill, and you gotta be with it, you gotta just stay with it," he said. "For me, I've had the fortunate ability to always be mindful of other things and other people. I'm not so caught up in what I'm doing that I can't be cognizant of what other people enjoy. ... Now, I think music should be used as a channel to really allow people to have different experiences. So, this album is all about bottling up those different experiences."The connecting tissue that's given Usher the ability to explore world music — from full-on dance tracks like his new single "Scream" and his collaboration with David Guetta, "Without You," to more classic R&B slow jams like "Climax" and the old-school spare drum beat of "Twisted" — while delivering cohesive records has been his voice, which he said brings "the essence of soul and emotion" to each record."All of my career is kind of an unveiling, an unfolding story, and it ain't done. There's so much more that I'm going to do, so much that I've now just been interested in and been introduced to," he continued.
