11-year-old died Saturday from heart failure after he was pulled off of life support, according to Channel 2 Action News.

<P>Kile Glover, stepson of singer <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/usher/artist.jhtml">Usher Raymond</a> and biological child of ex-wife Tameka Foster Raymond, died Saturday morning (July 21), according to Channel 2 Action News.</P><P>Kile was taken off of life support Saturday morning and died from heart failure according to a family friend, weeks after the 11-year-old was involved in a tragic <a href="http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1689206/ushers-stepson-declared-brain-dead-after-jet-ski-accident.jhtml">Jet Ski accident</a>. Kile was declared brain dead two days after the July 6 accident, and the family struggled with the decision to remove him from life support hoping for a turn in his condition.</P><P>"We know God's in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time," the family told CNN in a statement weeks ago. "We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it's the best way we can all support him now."</P><P>Earlier yesterday Tameka tweeted a photo of Kile alongside his younger brother Cinco (Usher V).</P><P>Glover and a second victim, a 15-year-old girl, were struck by a Jet Ski while floating on an inner tube in Atlanta's Lake Lanier. Both children were airlifted to the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston pediatric hospital. The girl is reported to have suffered from a cut on the head and a broken arm, while Glover took the brunt of the trauma to his head.</P><P>Atlanta's radio personality DJ Greg Street sent out a tweet earlier this morning where he expressed support for Tameka, Usher and Kile's dad Ryan Glover. "Lil RG is an Angel now, Ryan, Tameka, Usher & the whole Glover Family we gotta make him proud," he wrote.</P><P>The man driving the jet ski has been identified as 38-year-old Jeffrey S. Hubbard, a family friend. At this time the police have determined that no drugs were involved, and no charges are being pressed.</P><P>Kile is the son of Tameka Foster, the ex-wife of singer Usher Raymond, and Atlanta TV executive Ryan Glover. Foster has three children from previous relationships prior to her marriage to Usher.</P>

'She's got her confidence up. Once people give her a chance, I think people are really going to get her,' Cowell says of new judge.
By John Mitchell
<P>Simon Cowell is clearly feeling better — after missing <a href="/news/articles/1687133/x-factor-judges-performances-fighting.jhtml">"The X Factor" auditions in Kansas City, Missouri,</a> due to a bout of bronchitis — and he's talking <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/spears_britney/artist.jhtml">Britney Spears</a>.</P><P>Cameramen from <a href="http://www.x17online.com/celebrities/simon_cowell/simon_cowell_says_britney_spears_not_unstable_claims_he_is_video_061412.php" target="_blank">X17</a> caught up with Cowell while he was riding in his town car in Beverly Hills, and they found the oft-testy reality-show judge and music executive to be in a particularly good mood. Cowell addressed a variety of tabloid rumors regarding Spears — namely that she's had some issues on set and that she's shaping up to be one of the tougher judges.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Britney Spears Explains Why She Wanted To Be A Part Of 'X Factor'" id="vid:769620" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>When a cameraman asked whether "Britney's too unstable" to judge "X Factor," Cowell responded, "No, she's not unstable. I'm the one who's unstable! She's working out great. All these reports that we've fallen out are nonsense. She's doing a great job."</P><P>Cowell's car then pulls away, but again comes to a stop in traffic, allowing the paparazzi to continue his questioning. Asked whether Spears was his favorite judge, Cowell said, "There's only two girls," referring to Demi Lovato, and went on to jokingly admit that he is his own favorite of all time. "Yeah, I'd say Simon Cowell is a great guy," he quipped. "Very good looking."</P><P>Pressed further about Spears, Cowell offered more praise for the pop singer. "Like I said, she's been amazing. She's really taking time to learn how to do this," he continued. "She's got her confidence up. Once people give her a chance, I think people are really going to get her. It will be a big surprise. She's a tough judge."</P><P>As tough as the famously direct Cowell? "I'm a pussycat," he said playfully as his car pulled away.</P><P>We guess all that talk that <a href="http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20602881,00.html" target="_blank">Spears has been "incredibly tough"</a> on contestants might not be far from the truth. For her part, Spears responded to those rumors herself, taking to <a href="https://twitter.com/britneyspears/status/212289663422042112" target="_blank">Twitter</a> to say, "It's all tough love ... I promise!"</P><P><i>Share your thoughts about Britney Spears judging "X Factor" in the comments below!</i></P>

For years, a night out in Sydney meant downing schooners at a huge, street-corner pub before hitting one of the gaudy mega-clubs in Kings Cross.
Now, however, drinkers are turning their backs on raucous pubs and heaving nightclubs in favor of smaller, more intimate watering holes.
Since a change in licensing laws in 2008 made it easier, and far cheaper, for potential proprietors to open so-called “small bars” –- with capacities under 120 and, significantly, no gaming machines -– more than 50 of these pint-sized drinking dens have sprung up across the city.
“Melbourne had always led the way with the small bar movement and, much to Sydney’s disdain, we were never able to do the same thing,” says Chris Lane, who opened the city’s first small bar, the appropriately-named Small Bar, in 2008. “People had been to these other cities and wanted to see the same sort of bars in Sydney. The market was ready for it.”
“We had a history of only having large pubs here in Sydney,” adds Jason Scott, co-owner of three of the city’s most popular small bars, including Shady Pines in Darlinghurst and the Baxter Inn in the city’s central business district.
“We’d never had small, owner-operated bars, which feel more authentic than the large, corporate-owned chains.”
Often hidden in basements and laneways, with little or no signage to distinguish them from their surroundings, these quirky new venues have added some much-needed vigor and vibrancy to Sydney’s bar scene.
“Each one has its own personality and style,” explains James Bradey, owner of Grandma’s Bar.
“They’re a little bit more personable and they’re focusing on quality of service and the experience. While every single one may not appeal to everybody, there’s going to be one or two out there that are exactly what you’re looking for.”
From Western-themed saloons and 1920s-style speakeasies, to kitsch cocktail bars and grungy rock ’n’ roll joints, the small bar trend has seen all manner of venues open their doors.
“Most big pubs all have the same eight beers, whereas smaller operators, who are more enthusiastic about providing a different service, will seek out the little craft boutique beers, so there’s a wider range of products on offer,” says Scott.
“You can see that the owners are showing you something about themselves, so therefore you get more character and passion coming through.”
With new places seemingly opening up each month, the trend shows little sign of slowing down, with Sydneysiders looking to discover the next big thing in small bars.
Baxter Inn
If you can find this American-style drinking den, which is tucked away in a basement at the end of an uninviting alleyway off Clarence Street, you’ll be rewarded with perhaps the best selection of whiskey in the city.
There are more than 300 bottles to choose from, all proudly displayed behind the bar.
The low lighting, jazz soundtrack and exposed brick walls –- all adorned with retro boxing and horseracing paraphernalia -– make this the perfect place to sit back for a dram or two.
Basement, 152-156 Clarence St.; Monday-Saturday, 4 p.m.-1 a.m.; www.thebaxterinn.com
Bulletin Place
Located on a laneway near Circular Quay, this tiny bar opened in December last year and is co-owned by Tim Phillips, who was named World Class Bartender of the Year in 2012.
Cocktails are, unsurprisingly, the stars of the show, with an ever-changing selection –- drinks make use of whatever is in season -– displayed on a roll of paper behind the bar.
The rustic décor, casual atmosphere and exquisite cocktails –- all made by knowledgeable bar staff -– look set to make Bulletin Place a firm favorite with Sydney’s small bar connoisseurs.
10-14 Bulletin Place, 1/F; Monday-Saturday, 4 p.m.-midnight (opens at 6 p.m. on Saturdays); www.bulletinplace.com
Grandma’s Bar
A mounted stag’s head greets drinkers at this longtime favorite, hidden beneath a guitar shop on Clarence Street, before they descend the stairs into a kitschy cavern filled with what the owners describe as “faded granny glamour.”
The extensive cocktail menu includes classics such as daiquiris, margaritas and mai tais, as well as more exotic concoctions from around the world.
The doilies, teacups and patterned wallpaper accentuate the homely feel of this warm and welcoming watering hole.
275 Clarence St. (basement); +61 (0)2 9264 3004; Monday-Saturday, noon-midnight (opens at 5 p.m. on Saturdays); www.grandmasbarsydney.com.au
Mojo Record Bar
If you hadn’t guessed from the framed album covers and vintage tour posters that line the velvet walls –- or the fact that you have to pass through a record store to get in here -– this place is a shrine to all things musical, although it’s slanted more toward Morrison than Mozart.
Australian craft beers dominate the menu, but there’s also a decent selection of cocktails. The bar’s vast record collection ensures that you can enjoy plenty of good tunes.
73 York St. (basement); www.mojorecordbar.com
Uncle Ming’s
After descending the steps from York Street, next to an innocuous looking suit shop, you're transported into what could easily pass for a glamorous 1920s opium den.
Lit with a soft red glow and furnished with retro Oriental décor –- complemented by a whiff of burning incense -- Uncle Ming’s is a world away from most Sydney small bars.
Add in Japanese whiskey, Asian beers and cocktails served in teapots –- plus dumplings to snack on –- and you have a sure-fire winner.

The duo sat down with MTV News in Berlin to discuss a pair of unlikely collaborations.
By James Montgomery
<P>Theirs is a relationship that has spanned time and Twitter, <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/keshasuxx/status/77286418598211584" target="_blank">seafood</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/keshasuxx/status/157523381602889728" target="_blank">shaving</a>, but over the years, the unlikely bond between the <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/black_keys/artist.jhtml">Black Keys</a> and <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/id_3213641/artist.jhtml">Ke$ha</a> has grown to become something <i>more</i>: a genuine friendship, marked with the occasional trespassing charge.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Would The Black Keys Ever Collaborate With Ke$ha?" id="vid:731631.id:1678505" width="240" height="211"></div><p></P><P>"We're friends with her, we've known her since way before she was famous, before she was even a singer, I guess," Keys drummer Patrick Carney told MTV News. "When she was 16 years old, she used to sneak into our shows. We kind of became friends with her by kicking her out of our backstage room, over and over again. She actually has snuck into shows in L.A., San Diego, Coachella ..."</P><P>"She snuck in and [got] kicked out of one show, like, <i>five</i> times," frontman Dan Auerbach added. "[She] snuck in through the kitchen. I don't know if she's such a big fan; she just likes breaking the rules."</P><P>So, when MTV News sat down with the 'Keys in Berlin during the premiere of their <a href="/news/articles/1678662/black-keys-gold-on-the-ceiling-music-video.jhtml">"Gold on the Ceiling"</a> video, we had to ask if their friendship with Ke$ha would take the next step: an actual musical collaboration. It's not all that far-fetched, considering both Ke$h and Auerbach live in Nashville ("I see her every once in a while flying by in her T-Top [convertible]," Auerbach laughed), and recently, the glittery one has logged studio time with <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/keshasuxx/status/160846424609787906" target="_blank">the Flaming Lips</a>. So, could we see a team-up on the next Black Keys album?</P><P>"I guess, I don't know," Carney said. "We don't really do that many collaborations, really."</P><P>OK, so if a Ke$ha collabo isn't in the cards, just who would the 'Keys like to work with next? Well, as it turns out, they've got their eyes set on landing a very big star for the next record ... even if they mistakenly believe he's deceased.</P><P>"We both want to work with Jim Nabors very badly, but apparently he's not with us anymore," Carney said. Oh, <a href="http://www.jimnabors.com/" target="_blank">but he is.</a> Which means that, much like Nabors, the dream is alive. The Ke$ha collabo? Eh, probably not so much.</P><P><i>Should the Black Keys hit the studio with Ke$ha? Leave your comment below!</i></P>

Iraqi Airways has announced it will resume flights from Baghdad International Airport to London Gatwick starting on March 5.
The resumption is a remarkable development given there hasn’t been a regular scheduled flight between the two capitals since the outbreak of the 1990-1991 Gulf War.
The first flight will depart from London Gatwick at 10 p.m., according to a statement from Iraqi Airways.
The airline will use its newly purchased Airbus A330, A321 and A320 planes to operate two return flights from London to Baghdad and one to Sulaimaniya every week.
“The frequency will increase to six flights a week by June 15, 2013," said the airline.
"All return flights will stop in Malmo, Sweden, for a period of one hour for security reasons before entering the UK. The routes have already been granted permission by the UK Civil Aviation Authority.”
Online booking isn't possible at this time. Those who search for flights are advised to fill in a contact form and are told an Iraqi Airways official will be in touch. Or they can contact the airline's U.K. office, at +44 (0)2 07 724 8455.
A round-trip Baghdad-London ticket starts from £468 (US$724) per person for an economy seat, £1,399 (US$2,164) for business class.
The announcement comes on the heels of the airline’s acceptance of its first widebody Airbus A330-200 in December 2012, part of an ongoing fleet renewal program.
"The A330-200 will allow us to grow our international routes," said Iraqi Airways general manager Saad Mahdi Saeed Al-Khafaji.
But don’t pack your bags yet, pleasure seekers. Tourist visas for Iraq aren't currently being granted and most countries continue to advise against travel to the country.
The service is expected to be mainly of interest to Iraqi expats and students living in the UK.
More on CNN: New wealth brings luxury shopping to Iraq
Founded in 1945, Iraqi Airways is one of the oldest airlines in the Middle East. It's based at Baghdad International Airport.
Though the March 5 flights will be the first scheduled flights to the United Kingdom in 23 years, Iraqi Airways has been flying to the European Union since 2009.
That year the flag carrier sent its first flight to the EU in 19 years when an aircraft flew from Baghdad to Stockholm via Athens.
In 2010, Iraqi Airways attempted to restart Baghdad/London service and even flew its first commercial flight to the United Kingdom in 20 years, filled with government officials. But regular service never materialized.
The airline was set to be dissolved and the U.K. flights were dropped due to a row with Kuwait over war reparations, a decision that was reversed in 2011.
Today Iraqi Airways services more than a dozen domestic and international routes.

The movie tie-in edition of "20 Times a Lady"—now called "What's Your Number?"—is now available wherever fine books are sold!
To celebrate its publication, a few of my favorite readers came up with these great reviews...
"What's Your Number? is like Harry Potter minus the wizards, wands, and Lord Voldemort." —Michelle Bell
"What's Your Number? is like Gone With the Wind except with less hoop skirts and poverty and more beaus..." —Karen Meyer
"What's Your Number? is like To Kill a Mockingbird without all the racism and children." —Julie Stone
Thanks ladies!
Please add your review in the comments!
