When I first saw the caption to this picture set, saying Heidi Klum and her family were at the beach, I admit, I was pretty surprised. Did you hear about Heidi and her boyfriend, Martin Kristen, having to save her son, Henry, and two nannies when they got caught up in a riptide in Hawaii? Talk about SCARY. Scratch that: talk about terrifying. I wouldn’t have my kids anywhere near the beach after that, at least not for a good, long while.
But avoidance really isn’t the best way to handle something like that. It would just teach the kids to fear the ocean, right? So it’s great that Heidi took her family to the beach in Malibu after lunch yesterday afternoon. They didn’t get in the water (I’m guessing it was too chilly for that), but it looks like they all had a blast playing in the sand.
