Now that’s a name fit for a King! Well I know I’m not alone, but I did predict that the royal baby would be named George, and I was right! The official twitter feed of Clarence House has just announced that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have named their son George Alexander Louis and that he will be officially known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge. Wow, that’s quite a title for such a tiny baby!
I think George was probably the most commonly guessed name, given that that last King of England, the Queen’s father, was named George. I like that name a lot too, it’s pretty cute. So now that we’ve seen the baby and we know his name, do you think that the media frenzy around this new family will die down for a bit? For their sake, I hope so!
